Approved: Renewals that have been processed and where the member is found eligible.
Discontinued: Renewals that have been processed and where the member is found ineligible.
Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI): Category for family medical programs.
Non-MAGI: Category for long-term care (LTC) and elderly and disabled (E&D) programs.
Renewal/Redetermination/Review: All used to refer to the packet that members receive and must fill out and return to the KanCare Clearinghouse. This packet asks for information that helps determine a member's eligibility for Medicaid programs. Most KanCare members must complete and return these once year.
90-day Window: Category for members who have 90 days to return a review for processing or send KanCare more information about their medical case. Once that renewal has been processed, if they are found eligible, they may have their eligibility backdated to the date they were discontinued. KanCare is monitoring this category closely to make further adjustments to the renewal process as appropriate.
